Can
I purchase an "exclusive territory"?
If yes, please describe?
Yes.
Area Development Agreements provide you with
a territory within which only you will be
permitted to open and operate conventional
Creativeworks agencies. When you open an agreed
upon number of agencies according to an agreed
upon schedule, you will retain this territorial
exclusivity.

Would
I be allowed to be a "sub-contractor"
of work for larger advertising agencies?
Yes.
You may seek to be retained by large agencies
to do "small projects" or other
work on behalf of their "big business"
clients. These large agencies typically send
small creative projects to single-service
freelance firms. By acting as a "single
source" for such work with one-stop-shop
convenience, you may provide a competitive
advantage to large ad agencies when compared
to single service firms.

What's
a "UFOC" and what can you tell me
about this?
UFOC
stands for "Uniform Franchise Offering
Circular". This is the disclosure document
that describes the Creativeworks system in
detail, including your rights and obligations
if we were to enter into a franchise relationship.
The UFOC contains, as exhibits, samples of
the agreements that would be executed. It
is set out in a form prescribed by applicable
law and would be handed to you during our
first face-to-face meeting. We would encourage
you to review this document with your attorney
or other business advisors. We will address
any questions that you or your advisors may
have regarding the Creativeworks UFOC.

What
are the "next steps" in evaluating
the Creativeworks franchise opportunity?
After
a visit with the Creativeworks team at its
headquarters and flagship agency in St. Louis
and receipt of the UFOC, you may schedule
follow-up discussions either in person or
via phone. If you would like to know whether
you are eligible to purchase a Creativeworks
franchise, you submit a Franchise
Application along with an applicable agreement
and application fee (the unused portions of
which will be refunded to you). Creativeworks
will process your application and let you
know whether you are "approved"
and eligible to purchase a Creativeworks franchise.
Receiving an "eligible" designation
does not obligate you to go forward with Creativeworks;
that decision is left to you.

What's
the estimated time frame for opening a Creativeworks
agency?
In
most cases, it should take approximately 90
to 150 days from the time that you sign your
franchise agreement until the time when you
open your Creativeworks agency to the public
for business. Of course, this will vary depending
on a number of factors, including the time
taken to select and construct an agency location.
We will schedule your training to conclude
toward the end of site construction so that
the instructional information will remain
fresh as you open your agency for business.
